When it comes to the quick cook and assembly, follow the tips to get it right:
- Timing is everything, toast the buns before laying down the patties–you'll need to work fast.
- Use a well-oiled, ripping-hot griddle.
- If you’re smashing patties, place a square of parchment paper between the patty and the press.
- Don’t get fancy with cheese, this burger is all about the supreme meltability of sliced American.

2/3 cup mayo

1/3 cup sweet relish

2 tsp yellow mustard

3/4 tsp white vinegar

1/2 tsp paprika

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp onion powder

Sesame seed buns (two bottoms + one top per burger)

Ground beef (about ¼ lb per patty, 2 patties per burger)

Burger Royale seasoning (Find it in Walmart, grilling section)

American cheese slices
-
Shredded iceberg lettuce
-
Finely diced white onion
-
Pickle slices
For the special sauce (makes about 1 1/4 cups)

Directions
Combine the sauce ingredients in a bowl, whisk to combine and then refrigerate the mixture until needed.
Heat a griddle or (cast iron skillet) to medium-high heat; oil the surface. Lightly toast buns on the griddle and set aside.
Season and cook the meat patties to desired temp, top with cheese after the flip and then stack as follows: bottom bun, special sauce, lettuce, cheesed patty, onions, middle bun, sauce, lettuce, pickles, cheesed patty, onions, top bun.
