Feel free to make this dish up to a day in advance, and refrigerate until you are ready to throw it in the smoker or oven. Using fresh grated Parmesan is your best bet, but pre-shredded can be used in a pinch. If you want to elevate this dip even more, try caramelizing your onions or adding extra cayenne.

Ingredients
2 8-oz. blocks of softened cream cheese
⅓ cup mayo
1 medium sweet onion, finely diced
1 ½ cups grated Parmesan + ¼ cup for topping
-
1 tbsp Onion Butter seasoning + 1 tsp for topping
½ tsp cayenne pepper + ¼ tsp for topping
Directions
Mix all ingredients together and put into a casserole dish. Sprinkle top with extra cayenne, onion butter seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
Place in a smoker or oven at 350°F until bubbly. Finish by broiling and pull when top starts to brown.
Serve with crusty bread or pita chips and enjoy!
