The Onion Butter Burger
Onion Butter is such a spectacular blend that we had to create an entire burger dedicated to its incredible flavor. We know, you’re not supposed to have favorites, but if you asked us who received the biggest Christmas gift last year, it’d be Onion Butter. (Sorry, The Greek!) Give this burger a try and let us know if you'd do any different.

Ingredients
-
2/3 lb ground ribeye, per patty
-
1 stick softened unsalted butter
-
1-2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
-
Onion Butter All-Purpose Blend
-
1 onion, sliced thin
-
Brioche Buns
Directions
Start off by making the compound butter by mixing together the softened unsalted butter, dill, and 1.5 tbsp of Onion Butter seasoning. Mix together until well incorporated and set in the fridge.
Next, preheat your grill and set it up for indirect cooking. While you wait, form the patties and season with 1-2 tbsp onion butter blend. Let sit for 15 minutes. Prep the onion while you wait.
Once the grill is up to temp, throw the patties on over indirect heat. Once the patties reach an internal temp of 110°F degrees, place a 10-inch cast iron pan over the coals.
Once the patties reach an internal of about 120°F degrees place them into the cast iron pan to sear. After a few min, give the burgers a flip and throw in a few heaps of compound butter.
Baste the burger until it reaches the desired temperature. Set aside to rest.
In the same pan, throw in the onions to grill. Once the desired color is achieved, set the onions aside.
Go ahead and generously spread the compound butter on each bun and place in the cast iron pan to grill. Make sure to monitor the temp of your pan so you don’t burn the buns.
Lastly assemble. Start with the bottom bun, followed by the patty, grilled onions, and the top bun.
