Cherry Bourbon Pork Belly Sticks
Nothing is more satisfying than sitting back and enjoying a cold one while these skewers finish their 2-hour cook. With our Smoked Cherry BBQ sauce and a splash of bourbon basted on these bad boys, your taste buds will crave ten more, but your belt might disagree.
Cherry Bourbon Pork Belly Sticks
Ingredients

1 family pack of thick cut pork belly strips

Sweet Preacher pork rub
-
½ cup cherry BBQ sauce

½ shot of bourbon whiskey
Directions
Pre-heat smoker to 275°F.
Generously sprinkle Sweet Preacher all over the pork belly strips and rub them down.
Using double skewers, string up pork belly in a tight “$” pattern.
Set skewers over indirect heat and smoke for 2 hours.
Combine BBQ sauce and bourbon. Dab and paint skewers generously with sauce.
Allow sauce to tack up for about 30 minutes.
Pull. Cool. Slice. EAT!
