Ingredients
-
8 ¼-lb beef balls, to smash
-
2 packs of slider buns
-
Back Porch Burger Blend
-
1 lb bacon (cut into 1 inch pieces)
-
1 large onion (sliced thin)
-
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
-
1/8 cup brown sugar
-
3 tbsp maple syrup
-
¾ cup mayo
-
1 tbsp mustard
-
1-3 tbsp sweet pickle juice
-
4-6 sweet pickle chips diced
-
Handful of chives
-
1 tbsp paprika
-
1 tsp salt and pepper blend
For the burger sauce
Directions
Start off by making the sauce. Set aside in the fridge for flavors to combine.
Next heat griddle to 350°F degrees and cook down the bacon, followed by the onions until translucent. Add the bacon back to the onions, followed by the apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and maple syrup. Mix and cook down till a jammy consistency is achieved. Set aside.
Once the griddle is cleaned off and heated up to 425°F degrees, start smashing the burgers, and season with the Back Porch Burger Blend. Give the burgers a flip after they are 85% of the way cooked and add the cheese. Set aside.
Lastly add a little butter to the griddle and place the bottom buns face side down and start assembling the sliders: Sauce, burgers, bacon jam, more sauce, and the top buns.
