Ingredients
-
Ground beef
-
The Usual all purpose blend
-
4 strips thick cut bacon
-
Sweet Preacher pork rub (optional)
-
Creamy blue cheese
-
Red onion
-
Lettuce
-
Mayo
-
Brioche buns
Directions
Start by setting up your grill for indirect cooking at about 275°F degrees.
While you wait, season up the patties with The Usual, and optionally season the bacon with Sweet Preacher. We cooked these at the same time on the grill, but you can also put the bacon in the oven if you’d like.
Throw the burger on the grill along with the bacon. Make sure to keep an eye on the bacon so you don’t burn it and give it a flip half way through.
Once the bacon is done, throw a thick piece of blue cheese on top of the burger, and let it melt.
Now all that’s left to do is assemble. Bottom bun, mayo, lettuce, onion, patty with cheese, candied bacon, and top bun with mayo!
